Badgley Mischka Fierce Gold Heels

Google Adsense is going to come after me. I know I'm not suppose to click my own ads but every once and awhile... I can't resist. Recently they've been throwing a lot of Badgley Mischka heels at me. Now c'mon! That's your fault, Google.

Anyways, two weekends ago I found a pair at Macy's that I love.

Look! A video:

Ah! Now I'm so excited to walk around.

I just wanted a pair of heels that will match with almost anything. I don't necessarily have the funding to get a really nice pair of heels that will only go with one outfit...

Plus, these are gold and strappy and comfortable.

I'm happy.

Cheap Ralph Lauren Casual Shirts

I'm such a 12-year-old girl when it comes to cute guys. At work last week there was this handsome fellow from sales being friendly and talking to me down in the basement and I'm sure I was just smiling like a dork happy to be there. Well, he offered me zucchini bread later so maybe it wasn't as tragic as I originally thought. You don't just hand out zucchini bread. But anyways he'll make his smooth little comments like "Nice to see you again, Katie. Maybe they could get you some windows down here, you know?" and smile so charmingly and I'm just like, "uh, ha... windows." Face palm!

Before I drown in my misery, I will post a great deal on some great shirts. I just got these today!

This is red.

Did someone say $13.99?
It has great fabric, it feels good, and it has a cute little buckle on the sleeve.
A cute buckle - no joke? no joke!
Go to class. Go to lunch. Go shopping.
Dress it up.
Or dress it down with jeans and such.

You know the drill.

Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm Review

Alright, you want to put on some lipstick, but you're in a hurry and you don't have a mirror... so what do you do? Not put on any lip color?

     Don't even say that.

     I have this solution:

First of all, it comes with a little chapstick case that can make you feel more important. The lip balm goes on evenly with a cute little shimmer and a tint of color. The color and shine could definitely pass for all-natural-looking. The color I have is Red Dahila, which I would recommend for anyone with light skin and dark eyes and dark hair. For blondes and lighter complexions... I'm thinking Pink Blossom. Hibiscus probably looks fancy on dark complexions and darker skin. All other colors... try at your own risk...

Here's me modeling my lip balm
(Sorry about the hair. You and your standards!)

Soooo... instead of haphazardly smearing on lipstick and hoping for the best, just get this. It's safe and you know it looks good.

Other flavors colors: Honeysuckle, Pink Blossom, Hibiscus, Rose, Tiger Lily

A Simply Pretty Tiffany's Bracelet

I did too much pondering today to the point where I've made myself glum. I guess life isn't all rainbows and butterfingers. There's a few things I would go back and changed if I could; there's two years I wish I could erase. Heck with 'no regrets.'

But anyways, you came here to look at pretty bracelets as the post title promised. I will honor that. It's just times like these I wish I had a little sparkly thing around my wrist that I could play with and move around in circles. I could wallow in self-pity... in fashion.

     This would be ideal:

The bracelet is sterling silver and it's got the pretty little aquamarine thing in the center. I'm a fan of aquamarine. It even sounds good. I can just picture it draped around my hand when I'm walking around. It's just simple. It's just pretty.

Brooks Women's Running Shoes

You can wear a flossin' pair of heels or a new Lanvin dress (and if you can afford Lanvin... props to you... hallelujah, props to you), but sweating your ass off will make you look your best. And not just a cute little 7 and a half minute jumping jack session, I mean getting out and going for at least a 20 minute run.

So if you're going to do that, your feet better be looking cute. Well, hey hey now, Brooks makes some supportive shoes that are good quality and cute. And I'm not even being paid to say that! I've been a loyal Brooks customer for years so I can give a trustworthy review - it's just good stuff. My knees don't ache, my shins don't... splint, and everything seems to be connected. Mind-blow-ing.

Both shoes that I bought are part of this new PureProject at Brooks. Here is the research.

This first pair is extremely snug-fitting and light-weight. They are made for running on pavement therefore they are my sidewalk running and law evasion shoes. Aren't they adorable?

The next pair has a textured sole and therefore is better for trail running. I use them on my treks through some unkept mountain trails and dried river beds... oh wait, no I don't. Ha, who am I kidding I live in Indiana.

I don't know about you, but having cute running shoes gives me an incentive to run.

"One more lap... I have... cute shoes... one more lap... I can... do it..."

Oh, and in most states, running is free. That's the wild thing. Even if you don't have the money for expensive clothes, you just need the time to run. A good investment though is solid running shoes. This is your health now people - don't go cheap. But as far as clothes go, you can throw on a tank top and shorts from Target and you'll be fashionable enough.

Just keep running.

Coach Flats and Coach Logo

I'm an oddball. I like to buy coach shoes that show the logo, but not the ones that are just plastered with it. It gets to a point where there's not much more you can do but get a 4-C tattoo. Permanently branded! That's the spirit.

Anyways, I still want everyone around me to know that I, on occasion, pay more than 9 bucks for a pair of shoes. Therefore, I will settle for discretely displaying my coach symbol. Here's two flats that I like:

brown metallic coach flats

This one is a little logo-crazy but the sleek metallic look makes up for it. Just imagine yourself strolling down the street with these and some casual medium wash jeans. Maybe even the jeans that are stressed and come with predetermined holes in them. Oh, you'd look so casual in your holy jeans!

These. These are perfect.
Just... thank you Shoe God.

Joie Collection Women's Dresses

joie long white barefoot dress

The Joie collection is understatedly chic.

I love dresses that are simply effortless.

joie short green silk dress
I usually don't opt for the brighter colors, but this dress design was simple and laid-back enough. It's 100% silk, so it has a little shimmer that subtly reflects off your skin. I love that's it feels airy and hangs off my shoulders and cascades down from my waist. If you have light skin and brown hair, then shamrock is your new color - or at least it's mine!

Here I am in downtown Chicago!

Susette Dress Hot Coral $118 $82.60!
Ah, sale! I would be all over those cut-out sleeves, but it's not exactly my color. I'd say hot coral looks good on all-around darker complexions. So, people who... like their shoulders... get this!
*on a side note: I, personally, would tie the tie up higher on my waist.. like this... call me crazy...

So, uh, here's Joie :)
Joie long flowing dress
what a wonderful place to sit!
